Styrofoam is commonly found in packaging and containers. Its very lightweight and breakdowns easily, which is picked up by the wind and pollutes in abundance and stays in our environment for hundreds of years.
WEEE is the fastest growing waste stream. Its very important to recycle ALL WEEE. They contain materials such as chromium, cadmium, lead, mercury etc. that sending to landfill will contaminate.

Oils and fuel – the recovery of these are critical.
Household Batteries can contain: mercury, lead, cadmium, lithium and other substances that can pose a threat to the Environment, animals and human health.
If you have old, broken Lead battery (vehicles battery) bring them to Metalrok and we will pay you for them and send them to an ATF (Authorized treatment Facility).

Throughout the years Metalrok LTD has been contracted in the dismantling of many Metallic structures throughout Gibraltar.
We currently are de-commissioning the Old Power Station.
Metalrok LTD offers the service of recovery of Paper & cardboard, glass, plastics and mixed packaging. All recovered items are sent to Authorized Treatment facilities and do NOT end up in Land fill.
